Ukraine-based Donetsk Metal Rolling Plant has stopped its section rolling mill 300 for major repairs. During 14 days an equipment inspection will be carried out and old equipment will be replaced. Production is expected to be restarted on May 31.

Due to repair work, in the current month the plant's production of rolled section steel will drop by 29 percent compared to April to 6,500 mt. In June, Donetsk Metal Rolling Plant plans to increase rolled steel production to 8,000-10,000 mt, including 1,000-1,500 mt for export.
