DOC cancels AD review on silicomanganese from Venezuela

On May 23, 2002, the US Department of Commerce (DOC) published an antidumping duty order on silicomanganese imported from Venezuela. On June 30, 2005, the DOC initiated an antidumping duty administrative review on the subject merchandise from Venezuela. The review covered the period of May 1, 2004, through April 30, 2005. The review was initiated upon a request from Hornos Electricos de Venezuela (Hevensa), a Venezuelan producer/exporter of silicomanganese. However, since the producer later withdrew its request for an administrative review, the DOC decided to cancel the investigation.
