In the January-June period this year, Ukrainian metallurgical company Dneprospetsstal (DSS) saw an eight percent yeat-on-year decrease in its crude steel production to 138,000 mt. The company's output of finished steel in the same period decreased by 16 percent year on year to 80,000 mt.
In June this year, the company produced 24,000 mt of crude steel and 15,000 mt of finished steel.
Dneprospetsstal's activities cover the design, manufacture and distribution of stainless, tool, high-speed, bearing and alloy structural steel products. DSS' products are used in the manufacture of machinery parts, tools for metal and alloy machining, seamless pipes and bearings.
