Disastrous weekend for Kremikovtzi with two accidents

This weekend two accidents took place at Bulgarian major steel producer Kremikovtzi, located near Sofia. The accident on Saturday, which emerged due to coke gas leakage from the blast furnace, resulted in death of three people and many injuries. On Sunday there was a smoke at the power facility in Kremikovtzi due to a short circuit, on the contrary to fire accident speculations. According to market reports, total Bulgarian Leva (BGN) 5.000 (approx. $3.200) will be given to the relatives of three casualties. Also, the medical costs of the injuries will be covered by the company. It is stated that a report in respect of damages through these accidents will be published within this week.
