Italian plantmaker Danieli has announced that it will supply a new spooled bar line to Japanese company Topy Industries for the production of hot rolled, high-quality compact coils. The project will be coordinated by Danieli Engineering Japan in Yokohama.

The new line, to be installed at Topy Industries’ Toyohashi rolling mill in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, will produce 240,000 mt per year of spooled bars in coils weighing from one metric ton to 3.5 metric tons. The line is planned to start production with D10, D13 and D16 bar products in the summer period of the current year.
