CPCA: Passenger vehicle sales in China to total 2.15 million units in September 2025

The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) has stated that passenger vehicle retail sales in China are expected to amount to 2.15 million units in September this year, up 6.5 percent month on month, while up 2.0 percent year on year.

In particular, new energy vehicles retail sales in China are likely to reach 1.25 million units, with the market penetration rate of NEVs standing at 58.1 percent in September.
