On January, 2009, Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced the final determinations following the expiry review its findings made on January 9, 2004, concerning the dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Romania.
Accordingly, CITT determined that the dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Romania was likely to result in injury in Canada. Therefore, antidumping duties will be imposed on the products in question by Canada Border Services Agency.
