ChTPZ starts pipe shipments for Arctic Circle-Purpe pipeline

Russian pipe producing company ChTPZ Group has stated that in the third quarter of the current year it will supply large diameter (LD) pipes for the construction of the Arctic Circle-Purpe pipeline. The customer and main investor in the project is the oil pipeline monopoly Transneft, whose subsidiaries are the operators of the project, while other Russian oil giants are partners. ChTPZ has already shipped the bulk of the order - around 7,000 mt of of K56 grade pipes with outside diameter of 1,020 mm.

ChTPZ also plans to take part in the construction of the second and third parts of the Arctic Circle-Purpe pipeline. This year, ChTPZ plans to supply around 75,000 mt of pipes to its key customer Transneft.
