ChTPZ delivers pipes for reconstruction of Transneft’s pumping stations

One of the largest Russian pipe producers, ChTPZ Group, has announced that from April to November 2009 it will deliver pipes to Russian state-owned oil transportation company Transneft for the reconstruction and repair of its pumping stations and its oil tank batteries.

Under the terms of the contract, during the period in question ChTPZ is to supply about 1,000 mt of pipes of 57-426 mm in diameter, produced at its Chelyabinsk Tube Rolling Plant and at Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works.

In 2009, ChTPZ Group intends to take part in the construction of large Russian pipelines, such as Transneft's System-2 (BPS-2), the second trunk line of the oil transport system, and Gazprom's Sakhalin-Habarovsk-Vadivostok which will be part of a united gas transportation system for Russia's Far East region.
