Overall trading activity for seamless pipes has been at normal levels. As for the week ahead, it is believed that seamless pipe prices may again move sideways or up slightly.
Local Chinese welded pipe prices have followed a slight uptrend during the past week, amid minor fluctuations in prices of steel strip and raw materials. Overall trading activity for welded pipes has been at normal levels. Meanwhile, the approaching peak season for sales gives some confidence to traders, helping to push up welded pipe prices slightly. As for the week ahead, it is believed that welded pipe prices may continue to edge up.
