"More investment arrives in San Luis Potosí, we laid the first stone for the new Himile plant," Governor Ricardo Gallardo Cardona said in a message on Twitter.

The plant will be built on an area of 42,500 square meters. It is expected to start operations in the first months of next year, and the company forecasts 400 new jobs.

Himile will supply molds and equipment to tire manufacturers such as Pirelli, Michelin, Continental and Bridgestone.
