China’s steel plate imports up 6.8 percent in January-April

In April this year, China’s steel plate imports amounted to 0.89 million mt, down 180,000 mt month on month and decreasing by 2.5 percent year on year, while the steel plate import volume in the January-April period totaled 3.81 million mt, up 6.8 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
