China’s scrap imports down 5.5 percent in September

In September this year, China’s imports of scrap amounted to 190,000 mt, decreasing by 5.5 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.
 
In the January-September period this year, China’s imports of scrap totaled 1.79 million mt, down 8.9 percent year on year.
