China’s October PPI down 0.7 percent from September

In October this year, China's producer price index (PPI) rose by five percent year on year and decreased by 0.7 percent month on month. Meanwhile, the materials price index (MPI) in China in the same month was down 0.7 percent from the previous month and up eight percent year on year.
 
In the January-October period of the current year, China's average monthly PPI surged 6.8 percent compared to the same period of last year, while the monthly MPI indicated an average increase of 10.1 percent.
