China’s medium plate output up 4.6 percent in February

In February this year, China's outputs of medium plate, heavy plate and ultra-heavy plate amounted to 2.899 million mt, 2.015 million mt and 0.62 million mt, increasing by 4.6 percent, 6.8 percent and 27.5 percent year on year, respectively, according to China's National Bureau of Statistics (NBS).

In the January-February period, China's outputs of medium plate, heavy plate and ultra-heavy plate totaled 6.108 million mt, 4.246 million mt and 1.307 million mt respectively.
