China exported 9.72 million mt of finished steel in November this year, up 13.68 percent month on month, while it exported 83.61 million mt of finished steel in the January-November period of the year, rising by 46.8 percent year on year, according to data issued by the Chinese customs authorities on December 8.
In November, China imported 1.13 million mt of finished steel, increasing by 0.92 percent month on month, while its finished steel imports in the January-November period amounted to 13.22 million mt, up 2.7 percent year on year.
China imported 67.40 million mt of iron ore in November, declining by 15.10 percent month on month, and while it imported 845.77 million mt of iron ore in the first 11 months of the year, up 13.4 percent on year-on-year basis. In November this year, China exported 940,000 mt of metallurgical coke, up 14.63 percent month on month, while it exported 7.49 million mt of coke in the first 11 months of the year, increasing by 91.1 percent year on year.
