China's excavator sales decrease by 23.5 percent in April

In April this year, China’s excavator sales have been estimated at 18,772 units, down 23.5 percent year on year, as announced by the China Construction Machinery Association (CCMA).

In particular, in April, excavator sales in the Chinese domestic market were estimated at 9,513 units, down 40.7 percent year on year, while excavator sales to the export markets were estimated at 9,259 units, up 8.9 percent year on year.  

At the same time, China’s excavator sales in the first four months this year are estimated at 76,243 units, down 25.0 percent, including 38,341 units to the domestic market, down 43.5 percent, and 37,902 units to the export market, up 12.2 percent year on year.
