China’s coke exports down 26.6 percent in January-October

In October this year, China exported 340,000 mt of metallurgical coke, down 61.0 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. Meanwhile, in October, China exported 70,000 mt of coking coal, up 952.7 percent year on year.

In the January-October period this year, China’s metallurgical coke exports totaled 6.08 million mt, declining by 26.6 percent year on year, while it exported 2.16 million mt of coking coal, up 132.7 percent year on year.
