China’s coke exports decline by 13.7 percent in H1

In June this year, China exported 700,000 mt of metallurgical coke, down 6.8 percent year on year, according to the monthly import and export data issued by the Chinese customs authorities. Meanwhile, in June, China exported 460,000 mt of coking coal, up 224.3 percent year on year.

In the January-June period this year, China’s metallurgical coke exports totaled 4.1 million mt, declining by 13.7 percent year on year, while it exported 1.9 million mt of coking coal, up 144.5 percent year on year.
