China’s coal imports up 64.4 percent in January

In January this year, China’s coal imports amounted to 24.91 million mt, down 1.93 million mt month on month and increasing by 64.4 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities.

In the given period, China’s coal exports amounted to 0.6 million mt, down 1.5 percent year on year.
