China’s coal exports down 30.1 percent in January-February

In February this year, China exported 468,000 mt of coal, down 1.47 percent year on year, as announced by the Chinese customs authorities. In the same month, China imported 20.906 million mt of coal, increasing by 18.3 percent year on year.

In the January-February of the current year, China exported 749,000 mt of coal, down 30.1 percent year on year, while it imported 48.714 million mt of coal, up 14.4 percent year on year.
