China's coal export duty may be adjusted downwards

Several officials from large Chinese coal producers have informed local Chinese media that a plan for a coal export duty adjustment has been submitted to China's National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), with the finalized details to be released in December and to become effective as of January 1, 2015. It is said that China's coal export duty will likely be cut from 10 percent to three percent in the adjustment.
