China’s average daily crude steel output rises to 1.703 million mt in January

According to the China Iron and Steel Association (CISA), the average daily output of crude steel in China increased to 1.703 million mt in January, compared to an average daily output figure of 1.699 million mt in December last year.
 
The CISA added that in late January (Jan. 21-31) the average daily output of crude steel in China was 1.709 million mt, marking an increase from the 1.695 million mt recorded in mid-January (Jan. 11-20).
