China Railway Corp registers net profit of RMB 636 million in 2014

China’s national railway operator China Railway Corporation has announced that it achieved an operating revenue of RMB 994.853 billion ($160.5 billion) in 2014, down 4.65 percent year on year.

In the same year, the company recorded a net profit of RMB 636 million ($102.6 million), indicating a sharp rise compared to a net profit of RMB 257 million in 2013.
