China National Coal Group’s coal output rises 11.5 percent in May

Chinese state-run coal mining enterprise China National Coal Group Corp. has announced its sales and production data for May this year.

Accordingly, in May China National Coal Group Corp. sold 10.95 million mt of coal, down 17.5 percent, while it produced 9.19 million mt of commercial grade coal, up 11.5 percent and also produced 190,000 mt of metallurgical coke, down 9.5 percent, all on year-on-year basis.

In the first five months of the current year, China National Coal Group Corp. sold 55.04 million mt of coal, up 11.1 percent year on year, while it produced 43.94 million mt of commercial grade coal, up 7.9 percent year on year.
