Chilean rebar sales up in April

Chilean rebar sales in April rose 6.1 percent, year-on-year, to 42,681 mt, according to the nation’s civil construction chamber, CChC.

CChC said rebar sales in April diminished 1.2 percent, month-on-month, from 43,190 mt in March.

As for the accumulated period of January to April, local rebar sales totaled 172,512 mt, 2.1 percent down, year-on-year.
