According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 5,307,080 mt of iron ore concentrates in October, up 4.1 percent from August but down 9.2 percent from October 2022.
Canadian iron ore producers shipped 4,476,213 mt of iron ore concentrates in October, down 10.5 percent from August but up 11.2 percent from October 2022.
Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 6,387,719 mt in October, compared to 6,893,883 mt in August and 7,435,087 mt in October 2022.
