Canadian iron ore production up 15.6 percent in July

According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 5,760,301 mt of iron ore concentrates in July 2026, up 15.6 percent from June 2026 and down 5.9 percent from July 2025.

Canadian iron ore producers shipped 3,665,573 mt of iron ore concentrates in July, up 27.1 percent from June and down 20.2 percent from July 2025.

Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 9,987,176 mt in July, up 4.3 percent from June and up 13.5 percent from July 2025.
