Canadian iron ore production down 6.9 percent in November

According to Statistics Canada, Canada produced 4,785,913 mt of iron ore concentrates in November, down 6.9 percent from October and down 3.4 percent from November 2020.

Canadian iron ore producers shipped 2,380,998 mt of iron ore concentrates in November, down 37.1 percent from October and down 23.9 percent from November 2020.

Closing inventories of iron ore concentrates at Canadian producers totaled 6,164,940 mt in November, compared to 4,501,281 mt in October and 4,564,683 mt in November 2020.
