Canadian coking coal production falls 5.5 percent in September

According to Statistics Canada, coking coal production reached 176,301 mt in September, a 5.5 percent decline from the 186,586 mt produced in August and an 11.1 percent drop from the 198,403 mt produced in September 2015.
 
The supply of coking coal in Canada in September reached 188,686 mt, which represents an 18.9 percent decrease from supply levels in August and a 19.6 percent decline from supply levels in September 2015.
