British Steel to supply beams for offshore wind plant in Teesside

UK-based steelmaker British Steel has announced that it has signed an agreement to supply 30,000 mt of steel beams to UK-based monopile manufacturer SeAH Wind for an offshore wind plant being built in Teesside in northeast England.

The products will be manufactured at British Steel’s Teesside beam mill.

The wind plant is expected to be commissioned in late 2023 or early 2024.
