Brazil’s chamber of foreign trade, Camex, has reduced the imports tariff of certain capital goods products, it said on Tuesday.

According to Camex, which published a list with a new imports aliquot for 123 capital goods products at the nation’s official gazette, Diario Oficial da Uniao, the “ad valorem” tariff for imports of capital goods was diminished to 2 percent, and is valid until June 30, 2017.

Among the capital goods products that will benefit from the new aliquot are the imports of different centrifugal compressors for natural gas, industrial robots for automotive painting and 3-stage hydraulic presses for pressing, cutting, baling and compacting both ferrous and non-ferrous scrap.
