Between 2010 and 2014, Brazil will spend BRL 958.9 billion on infrastructure, according to a report released earlier this week.   The accelerated growth program, also known as PAC 2, is designed to help facilitate the country's financial growth.

The PAC 2 documents, released on Monday, include a forecast for average annual growth of 5.5 percent between now and 2014.  The plan further predicts a steady increase in the rate of investment, currently at 18.5 percent rising to 21.5 in 2015.

Spending will be allocated to energy, transportation, sanitation, electricity distribution, and urbanization.
