Borusan–Umran to supply 189 km pipeline

The Borusan Mannesmann-Umran Boru consortium will supply 50'000 tons of 914 mm diameter spiral pipes for the 189 km onshore section of Turkish gas and oil pipeline maker BOTAS' Turkey-Greece pipeline project. BOTAS will provide the necessary raw materials from Erdemir for the project, meaning that Borusan Mannesmann will not have any raw material expenditures. Borusan Mannesmann also supplied 66 thousand tons of pipes for the onshore section of Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline project in Q1 of 2004.
