Benxi Iron and Steel develops X100 steel sheet for spiral welded pipes

Liaoning Province-based Chinese steelmaker Benxi Iron and Steel has lately developed X100 high-strength sheet for the manufacture of spiral welded pipes used in oil pipelines and successfully tested the material at its 2,300 mm hot strip mill. Benxi Iron and Steel has stated that its steel for use in oil pipelines has thus reached advanced world standards, thereby also boosting the producer's pace of structural adjustment.
