Belarusian metallurgical production rises by 2.8 percent in January

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in January of this year the metallurgical production of Belarus increased by 2.8 percent year on year to BYR 3.066 trillion ($370 million).

In particular, Belarusian crude steel production increased by 2.1 percent to 228,300 mt, output of rolled steel went up by 4.8 percent to 241,700 mt, but production of steel pipes moved down by 19.5 percent to 20,000 mt, all on year-on-year basis.
