Belarus increases metallurgical production by 15 percent in H1 2011

According to data released by the National Statistical Committee of the Republic of Belarus, in the first half of the current year Belarus increased metallurgical production by 15.2 percent compared to the same period of last year. In particular, crude steel production increased by 5.4 percent to 1.395 million mt, output of rolled metal went up by 2.6 percent to 1.252 million mt, and production of steel pipes moved up by 38.3 percent to 111,300 mt.
