BC Iron achieves 5 million mt production target from Nullagine JV

Australian iron ore development company BC Iron Limited has announced that it has achieved the production target of 5 million mt at its Nullagine joint venture with Australia-based miner Fortescue Metals, ahead of schedule which was June this year.
 
After achieving a 3 million mt per year production rate in November and exporting 1 million mt of iron ore at the end of December last year, surpassing the original target by 10 percent, BC Iron stated that it is on track to achieve its fourth operating milestone which is to export 3.5 million mt of iron ore from its Nullagine JV by the end of June this year.
