Baosteel’s special steel division produces 2.5 mm thick stainless steel coil

The special steel division of major Chinese steel producer Baosteel has successfully produced stainless steel coils of 2.5 mm thickness. This is the maximum thickness of this kind of product.

After seven months of development and optimization work, Baosteel's special steel division has overcome a series of problems at its Steckel mill and successfully produced stainless steel coils of the thickness in question.
