Shanghai-based Chinese steel giant Baosteel has announced that it has produced free-cutting stainless steel of 316F grade.

In the current year, Baosteel has focused on developing new products in order to replace imported products. In July this year Baosteel developed heat-resistant stainless steel of SA387-Gr92 grade, while it developed alloy forged bar of GH99 grade in October and nickel-based corrosion-resistant alloy large-diameter hot extrusion tube of UNSN08810 grade in November.
