Baogang produces 2.5468 million mt of crude steel in Q1

On April 6, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) announced that in the first quarter of the current year it produced 2.5188 million mt of pig iron, up 5.03 percent, 2.5468 million mt of crude steel, up 3.49 percent, and 2.4651 million mt of semi-finished steel, up 5.06 percent - all on year-on-year basis.

Baogang also stated that in that in the first quarter this year it exported
0.2311 million mt of semi-finished steel, up 11,300 mt year on year, while its total steel deliveries in the quarter amounted to 2.3921 million mt.
