Baogang Group exports 941,000 mt of finished steel in Jan-Nov

Inner Mongolia-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel Co. (Baogang Group) has announced that in the January-November period of this year its finished steel exports amounted to 941,000 mt, with an export value of $620 million. In November alone, Baogang exported 86,000 mt of finished steel, creating an export value of $50.997 million.
 
In the whole year of 2011, Baogang had exported 835,000 mt of finished steel, up 14.38 percent year on year, while its export value for the year reached $622 million, up 34.05 percent compared to the previous year.
