Baogang exports 1.487 million mt of finished steel in 2017

The municipal government of Baotou, the largest city in China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, has announced that in 2017 Inner Mongolia-based steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) exported 1.487 million mt of finished steel to 51 countries, of which 872,800 mt were exported to 20 countries in the One Belt, One Road area, accounting for nearly 60 percent of the company's total exports in the given year.
