Baogang commissions 159 mm high pressure boiler tube finishing line

Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region-based Chinese steelmaker Baotou Iron and Steel (Baogang) has announced that it has successfully carried out a hot trial test on its 159 mm high pressure boiler tube finishing line. Up to now, finishing and heat treatment project of five processing lines has completed hot trial test.

According to the company statement, its 159 mm high pressure boiler tube finishing line has a designated output capacity of 60,000 mt, which can process high pressure boiler tube with diameters from 38 mm-168 mm, while 159 mm oil country tubular goods (OCTG) casing heat treatment line No. 1 has a designated output capacity of 80,000 mt.
