Baku Steel Company resumes operation

Azerbaijan's Baku Steel Company resumed production after two weeks. The company had temporarily stopped its production on January 18, 2006 due to unavailability of scrap metal because of a conflict on scrap supplies between the company and the state-owned companies which provide scrap for it. Now, the conflict between the company and government authorities has been solved. Baku Steel Company produced 330,000 tons of products last year and aiming to produce 400,000 tons this year.
