The chain of investments is directed at the establishment of beneficiation, palletizing and DRI plants, in addition to a round and square billet manufacturing mill, all to be located in the Azerbaijani city of Ganja. The new billet mill will have an annual production capacity of one million metric tons of round and square billets in a size range of 120-200 mm.
The first step in the investment will be the establishment of a mini-mill which will use scrap as a raw material for production. Meanwhile, upon the completion of the investment, the mill will switch mostly to DRI as a raw material.
