Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down two percent in early June
In early June (June 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were recorded at RMB 2,272.2/mt ($366.5/mt), RMB 2,345/mt ($378.2/mt), RMB 2,411.7/mt ($389.0/mt), RMB 2,499.5/mt ($403.1/mt), RMB 3,418.6/mt ($551.4/mt) and RMB 2,708.4/mt ($436.8/mt), down RMB 47.5/mt ($7.7/mt), RMB 39.2/mt ($6.3/mt), RMB 50.2/mt ($8.1/mt), RMB 39/mt ($6.3/mt), RMB 46.9/mt ($7.6/mt) and RMB 33.7/mt ($5.4/mt), decreasing by 2.0 percent, 1.6 percent, 2.0 percent, 1.5 percent, 1.4 percent and 1.2 percent compared to prices in late May (May 21-30), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics on June 14.
