Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down 9.1 percent in late November

In late November (November 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes, and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 4,025.8/mt ($580.1/mt), RMB 4,131.0/mt ($595.3/mt), RMB 3,892.3/mt ($560.9/mt), RMB 3,829.9/mt ($551.9/mt), RMB 4,923.6/mt ($709.5/mt) and RMB 4,158.8/mt ($599.3/mt), decreasing by RMB 404.0/mt ($58.2/mt), RMB 408.3/mt ($58.8/mt), RMB 304.2/mt ($43.8/mt), RMB 210.4/mt ($30.3/mt), RMB 264.9/mt ($38.2/mt) and RMB 225.2/mt ($32.4/mt), down by 9.1 percent, 9.0 percent, 7.2 percent, 5.2 percent, 5.1 percent and 5.1 percent, respectively, compared to prices in mid-November (November 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
