Average HRB 400 rebar price in China down 0.3 percent in early Nov

In early November (November 1-10) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes, and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were respectively recorded at RMB 4,644.9/mt ($668.3/mt), RMB 4,739.0/mt ($681.9/mt), RMB 4,328.5/mt ($622.8/mt), RMB 4,191.7/mt ($603.1/mt), RMB 5,321.2/mt ($765.6/mt) and RMB 4,504.1/mt ($648.1/mt), decreasing by RMB 12.7/mt ($1.8/mt), RMB 26.4/mt ($3.8/mt), RMB 66.0/mt ($9.5/mt), RMB 107.0/mt ($15.4/mt), RMB 52.5/mt ($7.6/mt) and RMB 25.3/mt ($3.6/mt), i.e., down 0.3 percent, 0.6 percent, 1.5 percent, 2.5 percent, 1.0 percent and 0.6 percent, respectively, compared to prices in late October (October 21-31), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
