Average HRB 400 rebar price in China decreases in late November

In late November (Nov. 21-30) this year, the average prices in China of 16-25 mm HRB 400 rebar, 6.5 mm HPB 300 wire rod, 20 mm Q235 common medium plate, 3 mm Q235 hot rolled sheet, 219 mm x 6 mm seamless pipes and 5 mm x 5 mm angles were recorded at RMB 1,908.4/mt ($298.2/mt), RMB 1,997.3/mt ($312.1/mt), RMB 1,914.6/mt ($299.2/mt), RMB 1,943.3/mt ($303.6/mt), RMB 2,714.1/mt ($424.1/mt) and RMB 2,221.5/mt ($347.1 /mt), down RMB 68.0 /mt ($10.6/mt), RMB 81.7/mt ($12.8/mt), RMB 56.4/mt ($8.8/mt), RMB 25.3/mt ($4.0/mt), RMB 32.4/mt ($5.1/mt) and RMB 35.7/mt ($5.6/mt), decreasing by 3.4 percent, 3.9 percent, 2.9 percent, 1.3 percent, 1.2 percent and 1.6 percent, respectively, compared to prices in mid-November (Nov. 11-20), as announced by China’s National Bureau of Statistics.
